Seeing is believing…
Visual impact studies employ the technique of 'photo montage' to show a development as it would look in its intended surroundings.
Using a photograph of the primed location (either supplied or taken by an experienced Pixelbrick photographer) our designers create a 3D model of the proposed development and combine the two using the latest digital imaging software.
The realistic final image is achieved by matching the light sources, shadows and camera angles of the 3D model to the original photograph.
Pixelbrick can also provide additional shadow assessments to demonstrate shadow casts that would result during different times of the day and year.
Visual impact studies are particularly useful in terms of planning applications, giving an accurate preview of a development to both planners and local residents.
